Having redesigned the original Brookfield.com as part of our first initiative with Brookfield Asset Management, this website holds a special place in our roster. Once again, we teamed up with Brookfield to put increased focus on representing the scale of their company and it's global reach. We built an intuitive interface that's designed to provide easy access to over 300 pages of content - with a strong information architecture. The updated design also features a full screen slideshow with jQuery tool tips on the home page and enhanced search functionality within the news a press release section to accommodate media related traffic. Brookfield also stressed the importance of market-specific case studies, which we implemented in a detailed, easy to read page layout. Congrats to the Climax and Brookfield teams for another great site!
When the topic of "gourmet coffee" comes up, there's one brand that's always been a step above the rest - Zavida Coffee Company. Climax gladly took on the task of redesigning Zavida's online web presence, but also redefining the lack of user experience one would expect from a conventional coffee website. We fused Zavida's passion for java with a warm foundation that displays their exclusive roasts, using a finely-tuned balance of texture and typography. To say we poured every drop of our creative abilities into their redesign would be an understatement! From eCommerce and social media integration to Eco-friendly initiatives, we raised the standards beyond just buying coffee online and crafted a unique experience that is sure to give the public a much needed jolt.
As part of our ongoing work with Honda Canada, we were part of a team that launched their Power Equipment web portal, which displays their current line of generators, lawnmowers, snowblowers, tilers, trimmers and waterpumps in an easy to navigate format. Keeping everything inline with their existing web properties was crucial. Alongside GRIP Limited and Navantis, we developed an interactive and engaging compare tool, which allows users to compare differences between various power equipment product models. We also developed a region-specific special offer page where users can select their province to find location-based Honda discounts, in a clean "hover and click" format.
