This project was the first phase of the Brookfield Web re-development initiative. Climax Media was hired from a competitive list of agencies to plan, build and manage an enterprise Web solution.
Brookfield, a large conglomerate, required a unified Web presence which could accommodate all of it business units and give the company a strong presence online. The solution had to be rapidly deployed, branded to corporate guide lines and easy to manage.
Climax Media created a bold and modern look and feel incorporating Brookfield’s trademark blue brand color. The layout of the site was designed to accommodate a great deal of text content and a variety of functional modules.
A custom content management system (CMS) was developed to drive the Brookfield Web site and provide dynamic functionality that would update the site as Brookfield needed it. The CMS was also segmented so that it could serve the unique needs of each business units.
Brookfield Soundvest Capital Management Ltd., Ottawa's oldest investment counselor, was established in 1970. It currently provides investment management services high net-worth individuals, insurance companies, foundations, trusts, and publicly traded closed end funds.
As part of the Brookfield group of companies, Brookfield Soundvest needed its Web site updated and brought into the corporate branding standard. Climax Media took on the challenge of creating a site that would target high net-worth individuals and organizations.
The result is a professional site with classic touches that express Brookfield Soundvest's stability and longevity, while maintaining the branding standard of the related Brookfield companies.

Climax Media created a Web site that brings it all together for the trendsetting 19-to-30 crowd, making it easy to keep up with the club scene with such features as 'what's happenin'' and 'in-touch'. Visitors can browse the hottest event photos, check out new events in their area, and buy tickets online.
