Yes, the rumours are true.
Actually, our company isn't big enough yet to have rumours spread, but who says you can't dream BIG!
We received a very official-looking letter from the folks over at the Summit International Awards, informing us that we have indeed won silver and bronze in the category of website redesign for our work on Zavida Coffee Company and Urban Gecko (which was misspelled lol).
The SCA (Summit Creative Awards) have been around for almost 20 years and recognizes creative excellence in advertising and marketing companies, as well as individuals with billing under $30 million. Along with our submission to the WebVisionary Awards, we entered Zavida and Urban Gecko to the SCA for consideration.
We didn't win gold (maybe next year) but both of our submissions walked away with "winning" status - and considering this is our first year doing the web awards circuit, we're extremely grateful to even be recognized.
A special congrats goes out to our creative leaders, Luciano and Poyan - great job guys!
Gold is overrated.
